Revolutionizing the Mobile Cryptocurrency Experience: HODLIT's Innovative UI/UX Mobile Application Redesign.
HODLIT, a mobile cryptocurrency exchange platform, approached The Skins Factory to do a full redesign of their mobile application design. We started with a complete refresh of their on-boarding process and user experience. To enhance the visual design, we opted for a sleek "panther black" backdrop infused with subtle undertones of deep purple. This choice ensured that any color incorporated later would pop off the screens, injecting a playful essence while upholding the platform's gravitas. Our UI designers crafted a fusion of 2D elements and neumorphic accents, imbuing the interface with a refined, tactile quality. Meanwhile, the user experience underwent refinement, resulting in a seamlessly intuitive journey for every Hodlit user.

Aesthetic Brilliance, Functional Excellence: Redefining Mobile Social Media.
“I want to be able to put a name to a face” the client told us. This sparked a mobile app design project that took almost six months from start to completion. The Skins Factory’s user interface, user experience designers & user-centirc designers were able to transform a one sentence concept into a fully designed mobile application, meeting the challenge head-on. From outlining core feature sets & creating user flow maps, to low-fidelity and then high-fidelity wireframes & comps, our team of user experience designers rose to the challenge. RESPONSIVE ECOMMERCE WEBSITE UI/UX DESIGN
This ecommerce website redesign project was a follow-up project to a user interface touchscreen design previously worked on for the client. Our task was to revamp the visual and user experience design for DTFsuperstore.com, which initially utilized a basic Shopify template.
During the discovery phase, we observed a surprising lack of color on printing supply websites, especially considering the industry's focus on ink color. Determined to differentiate our client's site, we infused vibrant CMYK colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) into masthead imagery and design elements throughout the site. Using generative AI Artwork (via Midjourney) and Adobe Photoshop, we crafted captivating masthead images for the various standalone & product category template pages. The overall design features modern, curved-cornered panels with subtle drop shadows, while neumorphic design elements added depth to the sub-footer and select areas.

DocPanel, the world’s largest radiology marketplace connecting imaging providers and patients to a network of over 700 US-based academic and subspecialty radiologists. Our UI/UX design team seamlessly integrated a clean, sleek visual design language, strategically employing generous white spaces to enhance the UI and combat eye fatigue. Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of mid-century design, we curated a sophisticated color palette. Revolutionizing Gaming Experiences: The Skins Factory's Super Sleek UI/UX Design for Hi-Dog Network and Technology Company
Hi Dog Network and Technology Company, a leading game publishing studio, brought in The Skins Factory to design the UI/UX for their new gaming platform. Our design team was furnished a series of low-fidelity wireframes that we used as the foundation to build a sleek, intuitive interface. We chose a dark charcoal and black color theme so that Hi Dog’s vibrant avatars, in-game assets, game banners and other IP, would jump off the visual foundation.

The Skins Factory’s Second Outing Designing InnovaMD’s Healthcare Portal.
The project’s discovery phase began with our team conducting User Research/Interviews. Over the course of 2 weeks, we interviewed Physicians, Clinic Administrators, and Office Personal, to learn the pain points they were experiencing with the prior version of the application, while discussing feature sets they wanted to see included in the new version for the software. This research was vital in pinpointing where to make the necessary usability & interaction design changes.

a 3-Part Generative AI Artwork Series — Presented by The Skins factory — Coming soon
From the mind of The Skins Factory’s CEO & Founder, comes an exciting 3-part Generative AI Art Series called Journey to the World of Tomorrow. It asks and answers the question: What if the science fiction writers, futurists, and artists of the American mid-century actually saw their dreams materialize into reality. It’s an alternate American reality, where technology advanced quicker and farther than our own reality. Created over a 6-month time period, with over 10,000 pieces of art generated using Midjourney with only the best artwork selected for the series. He then spent hundreds of hours post-processing the artwork in Adobe Photoshop where he removed all of the imperfections, rebuilt parts of the images using Adobe’s generative fill tool, corrected both lighting & color and more.

RESPONSIVE Web DESIGN
A proof-of-concept, responsive web design project for the Manhattan-based, luxury real estate broker - Nest Seekers. Modern trends flourish with soft, uplifting drop shadows, rounded corners, bold, vibrant imagery and generous white space. We took a different approach with the Listing page masthead design, distinguishing ourselves from conventional practices in the industry that favor linear, horizontal imagery, we opted for a unique strategy. Precision and sophistication converge through the application of sharp, architectural angles, disrupting the traditional visual narrative associated with real estate presentations.

From our bespoke, dynamic media player skin designs early on, and the UI/UX designs of the of the past & present, our designers have always endeavored to think far outside the box and deliver dynamic designs that set us apart from the rest.
Now, new technologies have emerged that allow us to flex our creative expression in a brand new way. A chance for us to imagine the unimaginable through the fascinating new technology of generative AI artwork. A journey into alternative realities & timelines, an exploration of technology & magic, and diving head first into the pop culture deep end. And For the first time ever, The Skins Factory harnessed generative AI artwork design to create masthead / hero images across an ecommerce website we designed. It’s a game changer.
The designs you see below were created with Midjourney, a powerful generative AI artwork program. The process can be painstaking as we go through iteration after iteration, changing the text prompts, removing what doesn’t work until we get the results we desire. Then the images are then taken into Adobe Photoshop for post-processing where we remove the imperfections, generate new parts of the artwork, modify the artwork, work on the lighting, color correct the graphics, and more. So sit back and and enjoy the artwork, as we dare to imagine what could be. Check back often, as we add more & more content.
